Kreatos ECG 37
A specialty grease for the lubrication and protection of electrical contacts. It reduces the pitting caused by arcing, repels water, and guards against corrosion. Made from a synthetic base fluid and free from silicone. ECG 37 is a contact-protection grease, not a conductive grease.
What it is
ECG 37 solves the problem of electrical contacts that degrade over time. Connectors loosen, switches oxidise, and terminals corrode under moisture and repeated use. ECG 37 lubricates the contact, repels water, and protects against corrosion, while reducing the pitting that arcing causes on switching contacts. It does not make the joint conductive itself; the metal-to-metal contact carries the current, and the grease keeps that contact clean, lubricated and protected.
Best for
- Switchgear and contact breakers
- Ball and socket connectors
- Automotive connectors and switches
- Robotics wiring junctions
- RC vehicle electrical contacts
- Spade terminals and crimp connectors
- Switches and contacts exposed to moisture
What it does well
- Lubricates and protects electrical contacts
- Reduces pitting caused by arcing on switching contacts
- Repels water and prevents contamination
- Guards against corrosion and oxidation
- Silicone-free synthetic formulation
- Helps prevent freezing on exposed contacts
Notes: Apply only after energised equipment is switched off. A thin film is enough; do not over-apply. ECG 37 is a contact-protection grease, not an electrically conductive grease, and it is not recommended for silver contacts. If in doubt, check the equipment specification.
