Kreatos HDG 30
A high-resistance grease for motion control. Used where you want a deliberate amount of damping in the movement, not just lubrication. Robot joints that need controlled feel, hinges that should not flop, mechanisms that benefit from a bit of tactile resistance.
What it is
HDG 30 solves a different problem from most lubricants. Most greases are about reducing friction. HDG 30 is about controlling it. The high-viscosity formulation creates measurable resistance in the joint, which is exactly what you want in robotic arms, articulated mechanisms, and any motion system where the feel of the movement matters as much as the smoothness.
Best for
- Robot joints requiring controlled motion feel
- Articulated mechanisms
- Hinges and pivots where damping is desired
- Motion control applications
- Mechanisms with a deliberate heavy-feel requirement
What it does well
- Provides controlled resistance to motion
- Smooth, consistent damping behaviour
- Stable across operating temperature
- Long service life in slow-moving mechanisms
- Reduces unwanted free-play in joints
Notes: This is a damping grease, not a low-friction grease. Do not use it where you want minimum resistance. For low-friction robot joints, see SGP 2 Prime.
