Kreatos LGP 000
LGE 000 with PTFE added. The same fluid mineral lithium grade graded for printer and robotics motion, reinforced with a PTFE solid lubricant for the contacts that ask more of it: smoother surfaces, heavier loading, the points where boundary lubrication kicks in. The accessible way to get a PTFE-reinforced film without stepping up to a full synthetic.
What it is
LGP 000 is for applications where LGE 000 is the right consistency but the contact surfaces need an extra layer of protection. It is the same mineral lithium base, graded and packaged for makers, with PTFE acting as a dry-film backup when the oil film thins under load. Useful on polished rails, hardened surfaces, and any contact zone where the grease film alone might not be enough. You get the PTFE benefit at the value tier, rather than paying for synthetic chemistry the job may not need.
Best for
- Polished or hardened linear rails
- Precision ball screws under load
- Compact gear systems with smooth contact surfaces
- Low-friction applications where reduced drag matters
- Mechanisms running near their lubrication limits
What it does well
- PTFE solid lubricant reinforces the film
- Reduces friction beyond the base grease
- Stays present under boundary lubrication
- Quieter operation than non-PTFE grades
- Good corrosion protection
Notes: PTFE-enhanced greases should not be mixed with non-PTFE greases without compatibility testing. Test sensitive plastics first.
